From bags, to different kinds and shapes of purses, to laptop cases, Pure Ghee Designs' line includes a range of cool, built to last, handmade fabric bags that reinvent luxurious brocades or the fabrics of traditional lungis and turn them into fashionable accessories.

Aditi Prakash, the designer behind this line, is an industrial designer who graduated from the National Institute of Design of Ahmedabad in 2004 and has since then worked with craftsmen, applying traditional skills to contemporary designs.

Aditi started Pure Ghee Designs as a side project from her job as a designer (as part of which, for instance, she curated the beautiful interior design of Samode Safari Lodge) and as a way to create with all the fabrics she had collected during her travels around the country.
