Set in a a very unexpected location - Zamrudpur village, right behind N Block Market in GK1 -, Zaza is one of the nicest shops Delhi for home decor (plus a little fashion, a little lifestyle and a little jewlery).

Past the busy market - not yet fully paved, and with the typical village-like abundance of cows and other wildlife - is the community center, where, amongts a couple of other nice stores, is Zaza. The store sells a great selection of items that are made in India and normally exported directly, without passing through the local market. From furniture to glassware to interesting bags and accessories, all mostly combining a great Indian aesthetic with a more Western sensibility, Zaza is a fun, stylish and colorful shop with a great energy, and not as expensive as you'd imagine it to be. 

Occasionally, art shows and small craft melas happen in the space, which also hosts Zaffiro, a lovely café that makes (and delivers) good sandwiches, salads and other bites that you can enjoy on the beautiful rooftop - currently our favourite in town, especially to get some work done (with the free wi-fi) in the spring sun.
