Part magazine, part directory, part media gallery, this is a space for everything that's incredible about India. For the inspiring and the unbelievable, the cutting edge and the traditional, the beautiful and the bizarre. The India Tube is a place for travellers, not for tourists. It's about the insight, not the information. Welcome.

A place to make art in Delhi

by Kassia Karr

The Greenhouse is an open-format community space in Hauz Khas Village in Delhi. It started as the creative vision of Avinash Kumar, one half of electronic music duo B.L.O.T., and was then founded by the Box Collective, a group of design studios, performers and artists in Delhi.

Set in a bright, airy building, The Greenhouse hosts public events that meld art and hands-on experimentation, as well as curated festivals and exhibitions. Currently it's showing The Indian Music Flyer Project, an exhibition of flyer art from around India,  and running an ongoing series of "Make-a-thons," all-day festivals of creativity and creation.

With a soon-to-come smoothie bar and installations, workshops, and an upcycling event on the table, The Greenhouse is becoming a focal point for a growing community of designers, artists, and makers throughout Delhi.
