If you are looking for the great restaurant, the cool bar, and the quaint little cafe in India - this is the place for you. We know that not all restaurants are serving authentic food, not every bar will know how to make a good cocktail and not every cafe in India is worth spending time in. We also know that some do, and go find them. We travel around India, explore it, we try a lot of options, and when something is really exciting, when we find a really nice cafe we write about it. We share our experience with you, so you don't miss that one truly charming cafe in India and don't have to waste time trying all the other cafes we found disappointing. We don't cover everything: we strongly believe that every cafe in India that is not worth going to, for whatever reason, is simply not worth mentioning. And why would you want to hear about a restaurant that we would never go back to? The India Tube is only about what we like, and hope you will too – and the rest can be ignored. But in the same time, when something doesn't completely convince us even in that one Indian cafe we really liked, we point it out. In the end, it's all about sharing our best experience of India to make yours the best possible.

Chances are, in your search for secondhand paperbacks and vintage LP records on Freeskool Street, you would have not noticed a particularly narrow doorway that leads to a single room. Known simply as Kalman Meat Storage, this little shop is the ultimate pit stop for any discerning carnivore.
