Luxury living in Goa

If you are the type looking for a quiet holiday and underplayed luxury, here’s a beautiful place in Aswem.

It’s not on the beach, but the environment makes up for it. There are two standalone cottages in this compound and a pool in the middle of mangroves and cashew trees. The cottages are very roomy with super high ceilings and ventilation. What’s really exciting is the food. Breakfast is full power (see pic). Lunch and dinner is on request. They only serve fresh food, especially fish. In terms of cocktails, they can only make mojitos. The staff is quite proud of their kitchen, but can be a bit dumb sometimes. You get a staff of seven, including chef, gardener etc.

Beach and taxi stand are a 5 minute walk. Shanti Bar (famous DJ Sasha spins every evening) is a 7 minute walk. The famous ‘La Plage’ is 5 minutes by car.
